He was predeceased by: his wife Marian Posey of Whitsett, Texas.; his parents, Willie Posey and Louise Posey; and his brother Lee Posey. He is survived by: his children, Cindy Monfils (Randy), Dale Posey (Sherry), Randy Posey (Beth) and Terry Posey (Sarah); his sister Beverly Morrison (Reece); and his grandchildren, Matthew Posey (Madi), Brittney Posey (Cedrique Flemming), Jacob Posey (Mallory), Blake Posey (Alicia), Kelly Leighton (Will), Justin Monfils, Bailey Kane (Matt), Brock Posey (Jessica), Madison Smith (Derek), Dakota Monfils and Taylor Posey (Karys). He is also survived by his children and grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, April 14th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Thomason Funeral Home - San Marcos (2001 Ranch Rd 12, San Marcos, TX 78666). A funeral service was held on Monday, April 14th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Hollis' honor to First Baptist Church, Canyon Lake or Gentiva Hospice.
