Cortez; his children, Rachael, Demetrio and Pricilla; his grandchildren, Eric, Christina, David, Karina, Elijah (Ashley), Daniel, Jessica, Emelia Rae, Gabriella and Elias; his great grandchildren, Nevaeh, Maricela, Adalina, Aviana, Aamira, Aaliyah, Alexis, Aubrey, Mercedes and Madison; and his siblings, Otilia Cerda (Jose), Conrado, Victorina, Elisa Polanco (John), Reyes Cortez (Elisa), Elida Garza (Samuel, Sr.), Joventino, Maria Gonzales (Pedro), Elidia Robles (Genaro), Pauline Pina (Candido) and Juan Cortez (Martha). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and counting, cousins, his brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law.
