It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Evelyn Parks Barrett of San Marcos, Texas, born in San Saba, Texas, who passed away on September 1, 2024, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Earl Parks and Emma Scott Parks. She is survived by: her husband Euel Dean Barrett of San Marcos; her children, Lisa Barrett Jones (Mark) of Dripping Springs and John Earl Barrett (Piper) of Wimberley; her grandchildren, Philip Jones (Ann Evans) of Georgetown, Bethany Jones Kronberg (Victor) of Austin, Lindsey Jones of Pflugerville, Bailey Barrett of Fort Worth and Brooke Barrett of Los Angeles, CA.; her great grandchild Barrett Jones of Georgetown; and her sister Margaret Parks Conner (Don) of Lubbock. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
