She is survived by: her husband Margarito Salazar; her children, Maria Torres (Martin), Veronica Mendez (Jesus), Lorena Cardenas (Maciel), Maritza Salazar and Ernesto Salazar (Sandra); and her grandchildren, Jose, Jimena, Matthew Torres, Isaac, Jacob, Guadalupe, David Mendez, Thiago, Erick, Gael Cardenas and Regina Salazar.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, January 11th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:15 PM at the Thomason Funeral Home - San Marcos (2001 Ranch Rd 12, San Marcos, TX 78666). A rosary was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church (624 E Hopkins St, San Marcos, TX 78666).
