She was predeceased by: her husband Manuel Lopez Sr.; her parents, Alfredo Moreno and Jacinta Moreno; her son Manuel Lopez Jr.; and her sisters, Helen Rodriguez, Anita Gutierrez, Ofelia Moreno, Susie Moreno, Ernestina Bustos and Guadalupe Hiracheta.
She is survived by: her children, Frank Lopez (late Yolanda Lopez), Gilbert Lopez (Virginia), Paul Lopez, Sally Machado (late Richard Machado Sr.), Mary Silguero (Joe), Josie Juarez Janie (Jose Villegas), Rachael Garza (late Johnny Garza), Susie Mendoza (Domingo Jr.), Sylvia Barrios (Ruben) and Linda Acosta (late Eddie Acosta); her granddaughter Tina Guerrero (Henry); her sister Stella Montanez; her close friend Frances Arredondo; her brothers, Pasqual Moreno, Francisco Moreno, Guillermo Moreno and Jose Moreno; and her grandsons, Roy Lopez, Ronnie Mendoza, Juan Lopez and Albert Sanchez.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 5:30 PM and from 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM at the St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church (624 E Hopkins St, San Marcos, TX 78666). A rosary was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the same location. Viewing was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM at the Thomason Funeral Home - San Marcos (2001 Ranch Rd 12, San Marcos, TX 78666). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church (624 E Hopkins St, San Marcos, TX 78666). A burial was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 at the San Juan Cemetery. Finally, we never let covid stop our birthday celebrations with her.
