He was predeceased by: his wife Ana Maria Salgado; his children, Isaias Salgado, Angelina Salgado and Ricarda Salgado; and his parents, Natividad and Maria.

He is survived by: his grandson Noel Aramburo; and his children, Ramon Salgado (Augustina), Alfonso Salgado Jr., Juan Salgado (Abigail), Rosario Aleman, Rosa Elia Franco (Pedro), Rutila Reyes (David), Blanca Aramburo (Jose), Consuelo Schwarz (Mike), Gloria Bolivar (Manuel), Maria Holman (Robert) and Dora Santellano (Martin). He is also survived by grandchildren: 56, great grandchildren: 77; great, great grandchildren: 10; and with numerous nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
