He was predeceased by: his parents, George Lemoyne Mason and Eula Lucille Courtright Mason; his wife Linda Ellen Mason; and his sister Eula Mae Watson. He is survived by: his daughters, Cammy L. Mason, Cassy L. Garcia and Reece Bundrick; his foster daughter Andrea Brown; his sons, David L. Mason (Becky), Craig L. Mason (Brenda) and Richard L. Mason; and his brother Author L. "Bub" Mason (Dorothy). He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
