He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Abbitt and Caroline Dickens; and his sister Lauren Abbitt Thornton. He is survived by: his wife Jan Abbitt; his children, Devin Acklen and Michael Abbitt; his siblings, Randy Abbitt, Paul Dickens and Christine Kirchens; and also, Pops and Charles Dickens.
