She was predeceased by: her parents, James Bierschwale and Martha Bierschwale; and her children, Martha Cade Combs and Robert Henry Thomas. She is survived by: her children, Nancy Laskoskie of Dickinson and Jimmy Thomas; her grandchild Tracy Louvar of League City, Texas.; her nephew Jack Esser of Kendalia; her niece Mary Jane Esser Morrison of Texas; and her granddaughter Kitty Ellen Sneed.
