He is survived by: his son Robert "Bob" Mathews; his daughter-in-law Amanda Mathews (Young) of San Leon, TX.; his granddaughter Lillian Young Mathews of Boerne, TX; his sisters, Pamela Edinburgh and Deborah; his nieces, April and Tara; his nephew Nolan Fisher; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Andrea, Andrew, River and Hayes.
