He is survived by: his children, Lois Rene (Randy Noble), David, Ricky and Chris Herod of Sante Fe, Texas; his siblings, Virginia Galloway, Roy Herod (Norma), Janet Moore, Robert Herod (Ruth), Elaine Herod and Walter Herod (Dianna); his sisters-in-law, Julia Mull and Molly Edwards (Tim); and his nieces, Eva Sandridge and Debbie Krenek. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren.
