He was predeceased by: his wife Rebecca "Becky" Moreno; and his parents, Roberto E. Moreno Sr. and Ana Marines. He is survived by: his children, Rebecca "Becky" Cortez (Samuel), Roberto "Bobby" E. Moreno III (Gina) and Jesse A. Moreno (Leticia); his grandchildren, Tara, Noah, Ethan and Stella; and his siblings, Romeo "Lino" Moreno, Ana Maria Gonzalez (Ramiro), Diana, Raudel Moreno (Maricela), Roel Moreno, Nicolasa Chavez (Joe), Rocky Moreno (Lupita) and Ricky Moreno (Letty).
In later years, while limited in his physical abilities and the added challenges brought on by Covid, he maintained his fellowship via telephone by listening in to Bible Study and Worship Service with the Gregory church of Christ.
