He is survived by: his wife Toshiko Elaine Lopez; his children, Nadine Guajardo (Jaime) and Nereo Lopez Jr.; and his siblings, Jeronimo Lopez, Juan J. Lopez, Catalina L. Godina, Lala L. Garza, Oralia L. Soto, Virginia L. Luna and Josefina Lopez.
