She is survived by: her children, Irene Garcia of San Juan, Melissa Castellano (Alan) of Pharr, Ruben Ybarra (Mary Jane) of Pharr and Linda Reyna (Ino) of San Juan; and her siblings, Ricardo Avila (Rita) of Premont and Carlos Avila (Rosa) of San Juan. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren.
