As Idalia departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Idalia. Though Idalia may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her daughter Idalia "Lolly" Alvarez. She is survived by: her children, Arturo Trevino (Soledad), Reynaldo Sandoval Jr. (Ivonne) and Miriam Hernandez (Rene). She is also survived by 11 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Memorial Funeral Home (311 E Expressway 83, San Juan, TX 78589). A prayer will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:45 PM at the Memorial Funeral Home Chapel (311 E Expressway 83, San Juan, TX 78589). A burial will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the San Juan Cemetery (599 W Mesquite St, San Juan, TX 78589).
