We are sad to announce that on March 8, 2025, at the age of 88, Eva C. Martinez of San Juan, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Judge Dario Lino Martinez (Moderns); her parents, Moises Casas and Elvira Bazan Casas; and her siblings, Carlos Casas, Esther Gomez, Elvira Saldana, Moises Casas Jr. and Jose Casas.

She is survived by: her daughters, Dolores Laura Marroquin (Ramon), Sandra Liza Martinez (Rene Barrera) and Victoria Lucia Farias (Leodan); and her grandchildren, Dr. Jaime Jay Sanchez, Arturo Matthew Sanchez, Julian Dario Farias, Leodan Adriel Farias, Joaquin J. Martinez Barrera, Brianna Eve Farias and Lucien Dario Martinez Barrera.

Visitation was held on Thursday, March 13th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Memorial Funeral Home - San Juan (311 E Expressway 83, San Juan, TX 78589). A rosary was held on Thursday, March 13th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Friday, March 14th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at 1100 Gumwood Ave, McAllen, TX 78501. A burial was held on Friday, March 14th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Palm Valley Memorial Gardens (4607 N Sugar Rd, Pharr, TX 78577).
