She is survived by: her husband Genaro Cerda; her son Genaro Cerda Jr.; and her siblings, Ramona Rebecca Cano (Reynaldo), Estela Cavazos, Maria Mendoza Cannolly, Juan Leonardo Mendoza, Francisco Amado Mendoza (Matilde), Guillermo Mendoza Jr., Irene Quesada (Benito) and Margarita Morales (Arturo).
Visitation was held on Sunday, April 13th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Memorial Funeral Home - San Juan (311 E Expressway 83, San Juan, TX 78589). A rosary was held on Sunday, April 13th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Monday, April 14th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the St Anne Catholic Church (801 E Juarez Ave #4143, Pharr, TX 78577). A burial was held on Monday, April 14th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Palm Valley Memorial Gardens (4607 N Sugar Rd, Pharr, TX 78577).
