She is survived by: her children, Maria Elena Pérez (Alfonso), Sylvia Contreras, Patricia V. Alemán, Ricardo Alemán (Nereyda) and Héctor Alemán (Lydia); her daughter-in-law Annette Alemán; and her siblings, Benito Contreras and Lupe Contreras. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren.
