He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Mandel Sr. and Margarita C. Mandel; his wife Eva Almaraz; and his siblings, Albert, Alfred, Charles, Lily and Ella.

He is survived by: his children, Lee Roy Mandel and Eva Bertha Robbins; and his grandchildren, Farrah Robbins, Christina Mandel Hernandez and Eric Mandel. He is also survived by seven great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.
