It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Teresa G. Valadez (San Diego, Texas), born in Beaumont, Texas, who passed away on May 31, 2020, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Francisco Garcia-Rodriguez and Graciana Garcia-Rodriguez; her husband Ernesto Valadez, Sr.; her grandsons, William H. Harris and Ernesto; and her sons-in-law, Jim Ratcliff and Eduardo Soto.
She is survived by: her children, Olga Garcia (Edelmiro) of Alice, Texas, Maria Teresa Hinojosa (John) of Corpus Christi, Texas, Braulia Valenzuela (Mando) of Washington, Ernestina Soto of San Antonio, Texas, Rosario Gaza (Rene) of Corpus Christi, Texas, Ernesto Valadez Jr. (Esmeralda) of Corpus Christi, Texas, Gloria Ratcliff of Houston, Texas, Evangelina Johnson (Harry), Daniel Valadez (Terri), Alicia Gutierrez (Ruben) of Alice, Texas, Victor Valadez (Gilda) of Florida and Renee Barton (William); her grandchildren, Rosann Barton-Mata and William "Will" Barton II; her nephew Ramon Garcia; and also Maribel Renteria. She is also survived by 25 grandchildren; 43 great grandchildren and 14 great great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
