He was predeceased by: his wife San Juana Salas Luna; his parents, Juan Jose and Policarpia Luna; his siblings, Juan Manuel Luna, Ricardo Luna Sr., Guadalupe Saenz and Fela Garza; his in-laws, Anastacio Torres Sr., Felicita Luna, Magdalena Luna, Jesus Trevino, Ramiro Saenz and Juan Garza; and his son-in-law Rene Rivera.
He is survived by: his children, Domingo Salas Jr. (Irma) of Corpus Christi, Salvador Luna Jr. (Renay) of Houston, Luis Rene Luna (Laura) of San Diego and Belinda Luna Rivera of San Diego; his siblings, Rosa Torres of Killeen, Rufino Luna Sr. of San Diego and Margarita Trevino of Houston; and his in-laws, Beatrice Luna of San Diego, Margarita Perez of San Diego, Felipe Escutia of Illinois and Juan Salas of San Diego. He is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
