He is survived by: his children, Dian Munoz-Ramirez (JR) and Austin Munoz (Mary); his siblings, Ramiro Munoz, Sylvestre Munoz and Clara Utley (Octavio Guajardo); his close friend Rosalva Campos; his grandchildren, Tori Gomez, Heidi Munoz, Steven Muldrow, Kyrsten Cooper, Levi Maldonado, Lewis Maldonado, Xiomara Campos, Roel Campos III and Remi Campos; and also, Jose Campos, Karissa Campos (Ramon Maldonado) and Roel Campos II (Genesis).
In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to be made in honor of the Ruben Munoz Scholarship Fund.
