He was predeceased by: his parents, Santiago Diaz and Elida Diaz; his siblings, Emma Diaz Gonzalez and Santiago Diaz Jr.; and also Blaz Diaz.
He is survived by: his spouse Ida Barrera Diaz of San Diego; his children, Roel Diaz Jr., Mario Luis Diaz (Jackie), Desi Rae Diaz, Jessica Demi Diaz, Danika and Diaz-Quintanilla; his siblings, Ruben Diaz (Lilliana) of San Antonio, Delia Diaz Garcia and Melida Diaz Tamplet; and his grandchildren, Jose Roel Lazo, Linda Jo Guerra, Jason Diaz, June Diaz and Jacob Diaz. He is also survived by husband, father, grandfather and brother who will be sadly missed by all his family and friends.
