He was predeceased by: his grandfather Rafael "Bole" Saenz Jr.; and his uncle Arnold Olvera. He is survived by: his parents, Robert Saenz (Monica) and Debbie Gonzalez (Marcos Cruz); his grandparents, Juanita T. Saenz of San Diego, Javier Martinez (Paula) of Brazoria and Elma Martinez of San Diego; his siblings, Miguel R. Saenz, Jesus Christian Saenz, Marcos Cruz III, Julissa M. Martinez, Laurissa R. Tanguma, Myda Y. Gonzalez, Micaela L. Gonzalez, Christina Ramirez and Clarissa Cruz; his nephew Ryan M. Casas; his godparent Linda Alaniz; and his godson Javier Elijiah Rodriguez III. He is also survived by several other nieces and nephews.
Family and friends have honored him with fundraisers, prayer gatherings, donations and blessings.
