He was predeceased by: his parents, Gilberto Garza and Rebecca Garza; his grandson Alexander "Alex" Guerra; and his sister Yolanda G. Cases. He is survived by: his wife Elodia M. Garza; his children, Reynaldo Garza, Jr. (Chandra) and Crystal Garza (Paul Walker); his siblings, Ricardo "Rico" Garza (Anna) of Ben Bolt, Lydia Perales and Ernestina Ramos of Freer; and his grandchildren, Aidan Garza, John Garza, Maggie Garza, Carlie Garza and Macy Guerra. He is also survived by many numerous nieces and nephews.
