She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesus Salazar Sr. and Luz Esmeralda Salazar; her husband Desidoro C. Vega; her daughter Elma Gonzalez; and her siblings, Consuelo Gonzalez, Marta Garcia, Hortencia Castillo, Petra Corona, Domingo Salazar, Desidoro Salazar and Jesus Salazar Jr..
She is survived by: her children, Roel S. Vega (Jesusa) and Graciela V. Salinas (Ricardo); and her sister Estella Galindo. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren, and many numerous nieces and nephews.
