He is survived by: his children, Jesus A. Maldonado (Irma), Oscar Maldonado Jr. (Sylvia), Gerardo Maldonado (Jennifer), Belinda Vasquez Jr. (Gerardo) of San Diego, Texas and Esmeralda Garcia (late Omar) of San Diego, Texas; and his siblings, Maria Magdalena Luna (Rufino), Gloria Ibanez, Zenaida Chavarria (Raul), Raul Maldonado, Ramon Maldonado (Rita) and San Juan Maldonado (Rosa). He is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
