He was predeceased by: his parents, Hipolito Vidal and Emma Vidal; and his father-in-law Mauro Garza Sr.. He is survived by: his wife Corina Vidal; his sons, Omar "Mikey" Vidal (Daniela) and Christopher Vidal (Valarie); his grandsons, Fabian Raul, Michael Evin, Jaden Daniel, Christopher Homero and Dion Emmanuel Vidal; his siblings, Israel Vidal (Betty) and Leonor Ramirez (Rogelio); his mother-in-law Berta Garza; his nephew Justin M. Vidal (Stephanie); and his siblings-in-law, Frank Garza, Irene Bueno and Emelinda Bueno.
