She was predeceased by: her parents, Herminio Villarreal and Dora Villarreal; her parents-in-law, Francisco and Arcadia Hernandez; her son Juan Manuel Hernandez; her grandson Richard Villarreal Jr.; and her siblings, Jose Angel Villarreal, Herminia Gonzalez and Adelina Jasso.
She is survived by: her husband Francisco Hernandez Jr.; her children, Jose Perales (Dora), Frank Hernandez (Angie), Israel Hernandez, Elsa Maldonado (Robert), Irene Gonzalez (Abel), Esmeralda Chapa (Jose), Dora Lopez and Lydia Villarreal (Richard); her daughter-in-law Margarita Hernandez; and her sister-in-law Idolina H. Villarreal. She is also survived by thirty grandchildren, sixty-nine great-grandchildren, and seven great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 at 5:00 PM at the Mauro P. Garcia Funeral Home (1016 E Gravis Ave, San Diego, TX 78384). A rosary was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Francis de Paula Catholic Church (401 S Victoria St, San Diego, TX 78384).
