She was predeceased by: her parents, Salome Castanon and Alicia Ramirez Castanon; her child Josie Castanon; and her sister Josie Castanon Molina. She is survived by: her children, Hector Vasquez (Juanita), Nick Vasquez (Angie), Rick Vasquez, Rosalinda Luera, Carmen Vasquez and Celina Perez (JoJo); and her sister Alicia Salazar. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren, twenty-five great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild, numerous nieces, and nephews.
