He is survived by: his parents, Raquel Vasquez (Rumaldo) of San Diego, Texas and Jerry Lee Chapa (Tere) of San Diego, Texas; his grandmother Emilia Nunez Chapa of San Diego, Texas; his siblings, Jerry Lee Chapa Jr. (Kimberly) of Corpus Christi, Texas, Lee Roy Chapa (Emmy) of San Diego, Texas, David Lee Chapa of Alice, Texas, Rumaldo Vasquez (Tabitha) of Rosenberg, Texas, Rachel Diane Flores (Randy) of Corpus Christi, Texas, Mary Alice Zavala (Mario) and Sarah Marie Vasquez; his uncles, Maria Dolores Perez (Luis) and Ernestina Gonzalez (Noe); his godparents, Dalia Elizondo (Amando) of Benavides, Texas, Oscar Cantu (Velma) of Benavides, Texas, Vidal Cantu Jr. (San Juanita) of Benavides, Texas, Valentin Cantu (Hilma) of Benavides, Texas, Diana Rodriguez (Frank), Israel Chapa (Cindy) and Isabel Hernandez; and his godson Kyle Robert Flores. He is also survived by 10 nieces and nephews.
