He is survived by: his wife Sylvia Munoz of Concepcion, Texas; his son Joe Oscar Chapa Jr. of Concepcion, Texas; his parents, Yolanda B. Barfoot (Sam) and Arnoldo Chapa of Benavides, Texas; his parents-in-law, George Munoz and Edna Munoz of Ramirez, Texas; his niece Victoria Chapa (Danny); his nephew Leonardo B. Chapa II; and his aunts, Vicente L. Chapa, Crisoforo Chapa Jr., Humberto Chapa (Jova), Rodolfo R. "Tete" Chapa (Rosa), Francisca C. Villarreral (Lorenzo), Ruben Chapa (Idalia), Felix L. Barrera (Blanca), Diana B. Bazan (Rodolfo), Lucy B. McCalie (Scott) and Maria Barrera. He is also survived by husband, father, son, nephew and friends who will be sadly missed by all his family and friends.
