He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Guillermo Vera and Antonia Garza Vera; his sisters, Hermelinda Garcia, Elvira Vera and Maria Barnett; his wife Manuelita Lopez; his children, Linda Garcia (Claudio) of Alice, Anggie Vera of Katy and Jesse Vera, Jr. (Tracey) of McKinney Texas; his grandchildren, Richard Joslin (Victoria), Christopher Garcia, Robert Ian Davis (Stephanie), Michelle Coffey (Doug), Nicholas and Mallory Vera; his great grandchildren, Bryden, Maci Davis, Andriana and Ryan Joslin; and his sisters, Bertha Soliz of Houston and Janie Lopez of Hebbronville. He was also cherished by numerous nieces and nephews.
