He was predeceased by: his wife Berta; his daughter Carola Garcia-Lemke; his parents, Paulina Garcia and Clemente Garcia; and his siblings, Luis, Carlos (Ruperta), Edmundo B. (Olivia), Eduardo (Isabel), Cesar (Domitila), Aurora, Maria G. Adame (Lupe), Esperanza Salinas (Eleno), Natividad Valadez (Fermin) and Pajita Friesenhahn (Fritzi).
He is survived by: his children, Carmela Garcia, Celina Fairchild (Brad) and Martin J. Garcia (Sylvia); his grandchildren, Amber DellAngelo (Scott), Iris, Aaron and Alyssa Garcia; and his great grandchildren, Lauren and Brandon DellAngelo. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
