He was loved and cherished by many people including: his father Atilano M. Salas; his sons, Jeremy (Nikki) and Christopher (Adria); his mother Maria Salas; and his siblings, Atilano, Jr. (Melba), Ricardo Javier (Joyce), Gloria Alaniz (Corando) and Esperanza Cavazos (Ovidio). He was also cherished by several grandchildren, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
