She is survived by: her children, Mario Alonzo Mendez Jr. (Nora) of Alice, Texas, Jordan Aaron Garcia (Cindy) of Falfurrias, Texas and Celeste Evette Garcia of Falfurrias, Texas; and her siblings, Jose H. Guerra Jr., Arnold Guerra (Elma), Octavio Guerra (Rachel), Israel Guerra (Marta), Jose Adrian Guerra Sr. (Lydia), Gertrudes G. Cano, Zenaida Perez (Charles), Nora Ramirez (John) and Dalia Guerra (Lilian). She is also survived by ten grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
