She was predeceased by: her husband Vidal G. Cantu; her parents, Cecilio Saenz and Jesusa Saenz; her siblings, Tomas Saenz, Deodato, Ponciano, Juan, Margarito Ruiz, Cleodolinda R. Torres, Rumalda Ibarra and Helen Perez; and also, Miguel Ruiz and Dolores Ruiz.
She is survived by: her children, Oscar Cantu (Velma) of Benavides, Vidal Cantu (San Juanita) of Benavides, Valentin Cantu (Hilma) of Benavides, Maria Dolores Perez (Luis) of Benavides, Ernestina Gonzalez (Noe) of Benavides, Dalia Elizondo (Amando) of Benavides and Raquel Vasquez (Rumaldo) of San Diego; her brother Abel Saenz (Refugia) of Beeville; and also Cano of Freer. She is also survived by mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, and aunt who will be sadly missed by all her family and friends.
