With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Florentino V. Chapa Jr. of San Diego, Texas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 8, 2024 at the age of 56. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his daughter Vilma Barrientez; his brother-in-law Enrique Garcia; and his brother Raul Chapa. He is survived by: his parents, Zulema Chapa and Florentino Chapa; his children, Noel Barrientez (Rosie), Veronica Barrientez (Benny Alaniz), Annabel Barrientez (Daniel Gonzalez), Michael Chapa (Alexis Lopez) and Alayna Chapa; his son-in-law Rene Diaz; his grandchildren, Lindsay Alaniz, Abriana Everett, Ricco Diaz, Makenzie Chapa (Zork), Daniella Gonzalez, Evan Gonzalez, Chloe Alaniz, Ryley Diaz, Isabella Gonzalez, Deliah Diaz, Benny Alaniz Jr., Cheyenne Barrientez, Charlotte Barrientez and Noah Barrientez; and his sisters, Anna Garcia (Arturo) of Alice, Sylvia Garcia (Hector) of San Antonio, Irma Rangel (Robert) of Alice and Nora Garcia of San Diego. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and many friends.
