She is survived by: her children, Ruben Lara (Rachel Salinas), Jessica Lara, Patricia L. Martinez, Norma L. Cantu, Cora L. Garcia and Kali Leane Benavides; and her siblings, Margarito Maldonado, Jr. (Soila), Gilberto Maldonado, Sr. (Maria), Ruben Maldonado, Sr. (Rosa), Elodia Garza (Reynaldo) of San Diego and Gilma De La (Nasario). She is also survived by eighteen grandchildren, forty-eight great-grandchildren, five great-great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
