She was predeceased by: her parents, Francisco Nunez and Emeteria Nunez; her husband Leandro R. Chapa Jr.; her siblings, Felipe Nunez Sr., Israel Nunez Sr., Ildelfonso Nunez Sr. and Emeteria Garcia; and her grandson Leandro Vidal Chapa.
She is survived by: her children, Isabel C. Hernandez of San Antonio, Texas, Israel Chapa (Cindy) of San Diego, Texas, Diana Rodriguez (Francisco) of Alice, Texas and Jerry Lee Chapa, Sr. (Teresa) of San Diego, Texas; her siblings, Ruben Nunez Sr. (Magdalena), Francisco, Manuela and Lucia Martinez (Jose) of Corpus Christi, Texas; and her siblings-in-law, Carlos Garcia, Teresa Nunez and Jesusa Nunez. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
