He was predeceased by: his parents, David P. Valerio and Adela P. Gaitan; and his sons, Arnold and Edward Valerio. He is survived by: his wife Elena C. Valerio of San Diego; and his children, David Valerio (Ruben) of Alice, Michael Valerio (Christine) of Ben Bolt, Ted Valerio (Jessica) of Corpus Christi, Sandra Valerio (Imelda) of Alice and Jessica Valerio of San Diego. He is also survived by seventeen grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
