She was predeceased by: her sons, Luis Gabriel Castillo and Issac Castillo; her mother Marcelina Zamora; and her brothers, Martin Briones and Roberto Briones.
She is survived by: her husband Jose Luis Castillo Sr. of San Diego, Texas; her children, Jose Luis Castillo Jr. (Andrea) of Freer, Texas, Christina Everett of San Diego, Texas, Karina Lopez (Adan) of Dallas, Texas, Claudia Boynton of Allentown, PA and Rebecca Castillo of Dallas, Texas; her grandchildren, Christina Renee Everett, Miguel A. Castillo, Aaron Castillo, Miranda N. Lopez, Elandus F. Boynton, Giovanni Garcia, Luis Gabriel Castillo Jr. and Ellijah Castillo; and her great grandchildren, Amari H. Detres, Braylen Detres and Zion P. Gonzalez. She is also survived by her family and friends.
She was an active member of Primera Iglesia Bautista of San Diego and the Sherriff Association of Texas and donor for American Cancer Society.
