We are sad to announce that on April 2, 2025, at the age of 63, Roberto G. Cortez (San Benito, Texas) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his mother Dolores Cortez. He is survived by: his father Rogelio Cortez; his sister Rosalinda Cortez; his nieces and nephews, Valerie Paredes, Michelle Skinner, Frank Skinner, Anthony Cortez and Danny Skinner; his great-niece Mia Sara Cortez; and his siblings, Rogelio, Rudolpho Cortez and Mary Lou Cortez.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 8th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Thomae-Garza Funeral Home (395 S Sam Houston Blvd, San Benito, TX 78586). A prayer will be held on Tuesday, April 8th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM, on Wednesday, April 9th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM and at 2:30 PM. Viewing will be held on Wednesday, April 9th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, April 9th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the San Benito Memorial Park (6501 Memorial Dr, Houston, TX 77007).
