He was predeceased by: his parents, Juan Hurtado and Maria Elana Hurtado. He is survived by: his wife Florence Christine Weaver Hurtado; his children, Nery Elena Hurtado Limon (Javier Moreno), William Ricardo Hurtado (Roxann), Vanessa Lee Hurtado Gonzalez, Robert Anthony Gonzalez Jr. (Bobby), Christian Alexis Hurtado (Kimberly Munoz) and Allen Abraham Hurtado; his grandchildren, Evelin Moreno, Cinthia Moreno, Donovan Moses Hurtado, Olivia Grace Hurtado and Elizabeth Adele Hurtado; his siblings, Marcos Hurtado, Antonia Hurtado, Marta Elena Hurtado, Isabel Hurtado, Irma Hurtado and Cecilia Hurtado; and his nephews, William Hurtado, Christian Hurtado, Allen Hurtado, Bobby Gonzalez Jr., Diego Limon and Pedro Limon. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, family members, and friends.

Visitation was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Trinity Funeral Home (1002 E Harrison Ave, Harlingen, TX 78550). A prayer was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 at 7:00 PM at the Trinity Funeral Chapel (1002 E Harrison Ave, Harlingen, TX 78550). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Trinity Funeral Home (1002 E Harrison Ave, Harlingen, TX 78550). A burial was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Trinity Funeral Chapel (1002 E Harrison Ave, Harlingen, TX 78550).
