She is survived by: her children, Nayeli Nevaeh Esquivel, Noah Aiden Esquivel and Nicholas Joseph Esquivel; her close friend Israel Esquivel; her siblings, Enedina Martinez (Eleuterio), Gracie Mata, Mary Guzman and Juan Eliseo Compean; and her sister-cousin Linda Rivera. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, and a wide circle of friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, March 31st 2025 from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Thomae-Garza Funeral Home (395 S Sam Houston Blvd, San Benito, TX 78586). A rosary was held on Monday, March 31st 2025 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, April 1st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Theresa Catholic Church (1300 Combes St, San Benito, TX 78586). A burial was held on Tuesday, April 1st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Mont Meta Memorial Park (6501 Memorial Dr, Houston, TX 77007).
