He is survived by: his wife Gloria Montalvo; his children, Theresa Root (Michael) and Ronnie Montalvo; his grandchildren, Elainna F. Allport, Breanna H. Monette, Monica N. Montalvo, Ema R. Root and Patrick R. Montalvo; his great grandchildren, Weston J. Allport, Calvin M. Monette, Maisy Grace Montalvo and Jackson Warford; his friend Hilda Torres; and his pets, Max, Benji and Chiquita.
A rosary was held on Thursday, December 5th 2024 at 7:00 AM. Visitation was held on Thursday, December 5th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Buck Ashcraft San Benito Funeral Home (1400 E Business 77, San Benito, TX 78586). A Mass was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Theresa Catholic Church (1300 Combes St, San Benito, TX 78586). A burial was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the Mont Meta Memorial Park (26170 TX-345, San Benito, TX 78586).
