She was predeceased by: her husband Federico B. Martinez; and her children, Hilda Ramos, Ernesto Canales Martinez, Maria Elva Rocha, Berta Torres and Federico Martinez.
She is survived by: her children, Adalia Becerra, Elida Villarreal and Jose Canales Martinez; and her daughter-in-law Matilde Martinez. She is also survived by 34 grandchildren, 65 great-grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Thomae Garza Funeral Home (395 S Sam Houston Blvd, San Benito, TX 78586). A rosary was held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Our Lady Lourdes Catholic Church (22149 Farmer Ave, San Benito, TX 78586). A burial was held on Friday, January 24th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the Paloma Cemetery.
