He was predeceased by: his parents, James Anthony McCarthy and Anna Marie Cholick McCarthy. He is survived by: his wife Denise Dusek McCarthy; his daughters, Heather Aley (Trey) of Victoria, Lynann Schmidt (Lance) of Taft and Dr. Whitney McCarthy (Matthew Landers) of San Antonio, Texas.; and his grandchildren, Tristan Spratlin (Isabel), Riley Spratlin, Patrick Spratlin, Wyatt Spratlin, Landen Schmidt and Levi Schmidt.
