She was predeceased by: her parents, Raul Zamora Sr. and Maria Flores Zamora; and her siblings, Jesusa Compean (Jesus), Dora, Raul Jr. "Rucho" and Abelardo Zamora.
She is survived by: her husband Santiago Almazan; her children, Roberto Caraveo Jr., Marta Caraveo, Ana Martinez (Morris), Lisa Capistran and Moises Almazan; her grandchildren, Morris Jude Martinez, Mark Martinez, Matthew Martinez, Rene Capistran Jr., Marlisa Martinez, Kaitlyn Capistran, Ryan Capistran, Dakota Almazan and Tristan Villarreal; and her siblings, Juan Jose "JJ" Sr. Zamora (Bertha), Horacio Zamora (Mary), Rosa, Blanca García (Alberto), Esther Castaneda (Rolando), Linda and Sandra Zayas (Richard). She is also survived by several nieces & nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Thomae-Garza Funeral Home (395 S Sam Houston Blvd, San Benito, TX 78586). A rosary was held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church (705 S Longoria St, Port Isabel, TX 78578).
