He was predeceased by: his parents, Santos Villarreal and Luis Villarreal Sr.; and his siblings, Linda, Omar and Johnny (Terry).
He is survived by: his children, Hope, Jett, Peter Botello, John Botello, Mara, Isaac, Jaclynn, Jordyn, Jaidyn and Alanna Ortiz; his grandchildren, Lee, Presley and Apollo; his daughter Pearl Villarreal; his grandchildren, Dravin, Salem and Daniel; and his brothers, Apolonio "Poli" Villarreal (Sylvia), Gilbert Villarreal (Patsy) and Roel Villarreal (Yolanda). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Thomae-Garza Funeral Home (395 S Sam Houston Blvd, San Benito, TX 78586). A rosary was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the same location. The military honors was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the Rio Grande Valley State Veterans Cemetery (2520 Inspiration Rd, Mission, TX 78572).
